Sean Lynch

Sean M. Lynch

Sean Michael Lynch has been leading his law office since 2012 and his team has helped countless North Texans fight and win their civil and criminal legal battles. Sean oversees the entire firm’s operations, and takes pride in mentoring and leading his staff by example. He ensures that each of his clients receives quality, affordable legal services, and guides them through their legal proceedings, keeping their unique needs in mind when representing them in court.

Before opening his own firm, Sean worked as in-house counsel for D.K Haney Roofing, and as a land man for Castor Land Associates. He has collected many accolades throughout his career and was named one of the top family law attorneys in Fort Worth in 2014, 2015, and 2016 by Fort Worth Magazine. Sean was also a member of the Mahon Inn of Court in 2014 and 2015.

Education and Formative Years

Sean was born in Kansas City, MO, but has called North Texas home since he was nine years old. He spent his formative years actively participating in the Boy Scouts (Sean is an eagle scout), volunteering with his Church St. Vincent DePaul, playing football and excelling academically and was a National Hispanic Merit Scholar as well. During his time in high school he developed a passion for public service, and a desire to defend those without a voice. Sean went on to attend the University of Oklahoma as an undergraduate, and graduated from OU’s law school 2007. His focus has always been on understanding the needs of those in his community, and helping people with their challenges.

Local Advocacy

Today, his own charitable initiatives focus on uplifting the south side of Fort Worth; and he has built a reputation as a reliable and personable source for legal acumen and support among the residents of the Fairmount the near southside neighborhoods of Fort Worth. He has served as the President of the Fairmount Neighborhood Association, and sat on the board of  SiNiCa Glass, as well as the Fort Worth League of Neighborhoods.

His heart and soul are dedicated to bettering the lives of humans, and four-legged creatures alike. Sean and his family have fostered countless dogs and continue to work as advocates for the betterment of their community. He, his wife, their son, and their dogs all live in the Fairmount Historical District.

Stephanie Sabelhaus

Stephanie Sabelhaus has worked as an attorney for the Sean Lynch Firm in Fort Worth since January 2016 and has extensive experience dealing with complex family law cases. Always searching for creative ways to achieve solutions for her clients, she treats every case with a unique and custom approach that ensures transparent communication between her and her clients.

Stephanie’s parents instilled the importance of hard work and perseverance in her from an early age. As the first person in her family to receive a graduate degree, she was inspired to pursue her dream of going to law school by her parents’ own drive and work ethic.

Stephanie’s Education and Career History

Stephanie was born in Indiana, but has called Texas home since she was 6 months old. After graduating from Plano East Senior High School, she attended community college for a year before transferring to Texas Tech University. In 2003, she graduated from Texas Tech with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing.

From 2003-2008, she honed her skills as a professional working in medical malpractice risk management for the locum tenens staffing agency Staff Care. In 2005, she began night courses at Texas Wesleyan School of Law, now Texas A&M School of Law, and eventually went full time and graduated in 2011.

After passing the bar exam on her initial attempt in 2012, Stephanie worked as an associate attorney on complex family law cases at Carlock and Gormley, a North Texas family law firm. She garnered extensive experience at C&G, and formed the foundation for her career during her tenure there. In 2014, she joined Howery and Wilkinson Family Law Firm, and opened their Fort Worth office before joining the Sean Lynch Firm in 2016.

Stephanie is a member of the Tarrant County Family Law Bar Association, the Texas State Bar Association’s Women and the Law Section, and the State Bar Association’s Family Law Section. She currently lives in Arlington with her husband, and their dog and cat.
